Civil Air Patrol Responds to Storms

In the aftermath of the tornado outbreak, which occured on April 3, 2012, the Crusader Squadron was called into action. Members from the squadron were tasked with launching an air sortie as well as providing communication support for that sortie. The crew assignments were coordinated with Major Jack Browning and Lt. Col. Russell Miller. 
The mission base was staffed by Major Jack Browning, assisted by Captain Ken Pruitt, 1st LT Gail Pigeon, SM Forest Gilbert, C/SrA Kenton Pruitt and C/AB Tyler Durst.
Tasked as air crew, Captain Barry Hosford and 1st LT Keith Burley responded. The air crew launched from Grand Prairie Municiple airport at approximately 1900L bound for the Lancaster, TX. Several photo's were taken of the damage area. The mission concluded with the safe return of the air crew.
