Crusader Squadron Members Participate in Mountain Flying Training

Several members from the Crusader Squadron participated in Mountain Flying Training in Alpine, TX over the weekend of April 20 - 22, 2012. Included in the group were Lt. Col. Ned "Doc" Beiser, Capt. Barry Hosford, Capt, Leonard Ellis, Capt. Terry Mathews, 1st LT Josh Davis and 1st LT Keith Burley. The squadron assigned aircraft, N455CP, was flown to Alpine and utilized in the training.
 
The training included information and demonstration of how to properly and safely operate in a mountainous terrain while performing low and slow searches. Four of the six members that traveled to Alpine received requalification in mountain flying, a certification that is valid for 2 years.
